This photo is a blend of 78 30-second exposures, taken over 39 minutes, with a GoPro Hero 10. The Hero 11 has a “star trails” feature – one click and done. On my camera, I took each photo, hitting the button 78+ times.
I blended the photos with Adobe Photoshop. This was pretty easy (after comprehending the instructions) but boy did it use all the processing power my surface had to spare.
The photos were taken on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, facing north. (You can see the "North Star").
This is one day after the peak of the Perseid Meteor shower. Note the four metiorites in the photo.
